Trish and I are sitting at a (different) internet cafe in Taupo, waiting for our coach to Hamilton. Taupo is lovely, and thankfully the rain that started last night isn't too strong, as we had to drag our suitcases three or four blocks to the InterCity travel center this morning, where they're in storage until our departure. We're sitting in the local i-site (tourist info) for my ex coworker to kindly come pick us up and take us back to his farm. We're sleeping in a converted schoolbus - quite adventurous, LOL, but no more so than sleeping in an alp hut, and we have a fireplace to keep us warm.
